Our two-year-old had a wonderful time as well. The staff is especially kind to children. The hotel smells amazing and is beautifully decorated. We had a room with a view of the water, which was just stunning. You can also book yoga in the morning, which we unfortunately didn’t get to try, but it’s a nice option! We would love to return.

The area is beautiful, quiet and serene, just a few kilometers away from Baden Baden. The staff in this family owned hotel is very welcoming. What a pleasure to interact with such nice people! The room is great, with a pleasant balcony and ensuite bathroom: it is spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is absolutely brilliant; indeed better than many 5* hotels I have stayed in. The quality, taste and variety of the dishes offered is amazing; served in a beautiful room and with impeccable style. What a treat! Parking is available for free. Overall, a brilliant stay. We highly recommend this beautiful place!

Offering a terrace and a shared lounge, Kleiner Rosengarten has rooms with air conditioning, free WiFi and a cable flat-screen TV. Located in Mannheim, it comes with a restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine. The room was great, BUT instructions for key things, like the AC, were only in German, so not tourist friendly. Similarly, good luck reading the sign at the unmanned reception... also only in German. It said to call a mobile number (a long distance call, generally) it was also an unmanned mailbox. Eventually I figured out to walk in through the restaurant around the corner where I was greeting in, you guessed it, German (and Italian): I speak neither. So, the instructions for getting into the hotel need help, but once it, it was fabulous. I cannot comment on the restaurant, as we ate elsewhere, but it looked busy.

Die Reichsstadt - Hotel Spa und Restaurant is a design hotel housed in a former brewery dating to the 16th century. The hotel’s classic-style rooms are decorated in raspberry and white tones. Beautifully appointed property in the stunning town of Gengenbach. Our room, the outdoor area, spa and restaurants were exceptional. We enjoyed two dinners at Cocette and the breakfasts were lovely.
