This elegant, 4-star hotel in the Old Town of Potsdam offers free Wi-Fi, soundproofed rooms, creative cuisine, and a conservatory facing the historic Jägertor gate. Sanssouci Palace is just 1 km away.... The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the gorgeous Sanssouci Park. The room was air conditioned, elegant, impeccably clean, and well-appointed, with a well-stocked mini-fridge. The breakfast buffet was vast and even included lovely jams made in-house. There's a cozy lounge area for a nightcap. At night, it's enough off the beaten track that the room is quiet. The staff are courteous and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. It's not cheap, but I learned from a colleague who stayed in a cheaper place, you get what you pay for.
