Bathroom with separate very large shower room. Breakfast was not excessively self-service but by asking the lady in the end you were able to have everything. I would definitely stay here again. Only 150 metres from the cathedral, this hotel is ideally placed for exploring the city’s history on foot. The owner has sensitively restored the old stone building, retaining its ancient stonework and restoring exposed and time-blackened wooden beams. The guest rooms are simply but comfortably decorated, each with a small private bathroom with shower. The location of the hotel is exceptional, really central but at the same time kind of quiet. The room was a bit small, but very cozy. The facilities were really clean. The building is historical, so it inherently has its charm. The staff was friendly and polite. Loved my stay at Entrecercas.

Formerly home to the Earl of Tepa, Casa de Tepa’s most famous resident was Napoleon. The house has a large garden, a gallery and a spacious library with fireplace. This is a gem in the very centre of Astorga. The house is magnificent, and is a family-run business that has been in the same family for many generations. The owner is absolutely wonderful and so welcoming. The room was spotless and beyond charming. I would return without hesitation any time I am in the region.
