The Hotel la Boheme is located in the heart of Cáceres at the gates of the monumental Unesco Heritage city. Beautiful hotel in Moorish style in fantastic location next to main square but quiet. Close to historic Old Town, just across the plaza. Loved the style and atmosphere of the rooms. Beautiful terrace for good breakfast with tostada, coffee, apple cake and orange juice. Friendly staff. Good aircon. Very clean.

Her son carried our bags up the stairs and they helped with finding parking, day trip and restaurant suggestions. Carla offered a laundry service and even ironed my husbands shirts!

The house and garden are beautiful as is the town! The views from the lovely first floor terrace over the garden and out to the hills were magical. This is a family home now converted to rooms with bathrooms and is a family-run business. There is obvious attention to small details - and we enjoyed meeting Amos, who grew up in the house and gave us a tour of the house and garden, and manages it with his parents, as well as his father and Pascal who works there. A really special place! We were sorry we could not stay more than one night. And the Via Verde above the town is stunning to bike and walk.
