Loved the extra access to the community pool in town and the proximity to shops and restaurants. The hotels restaurant was quite good. The room was spacious and quiet and everyone at the facility was kind and helpful.

The entire town of Alquezar is magnificent, and the view from our room was something I'll never forget. The owners were so thoughtful and helpful as well. If you have any mobility issues though, more than likely the town of Alquezar is not for you, that would be my only concern. For the Alodia because the bathroom was on the second story atop a winding staircase... it was a little tricky in the middle of the night to navigate, so be advised to either keep a light on upstairs if it won't disturb you, or watch your head! But the room itself was stunning, large and spacious. The bed was really comfy as well - and the balcony was massive. Even in the rain we spent a good amount of time out there enjoying the view. Everything was scrupulously clean and neat and beautiful - we loved the artwork on the walls as well.

The views were amazing, the room was quiet and beautifully decorated and the communal living room was cozy. I’ve often walked through mountain villages and wondered what it would be like to live in one of the stone houses. Hotel Almud gives you that chance. They did a wonderful job updating the property but keeping the Old-World charm. Marie was an exceptional host. She spoke English and pointed out the best places to eat. She even called to make dinner reservations for us. Which you definitely need. Even the pizza place and some of the bars were booked! We highly recommend staying at Hotel Almud.

I love these quirky hotels. It so different to the normal hotel with good attention to detail and the guests staying. I will return.
