Housed in a converted prison from 1837, this atmospheric hotel is found on Katajanokka Island in central Helsinki. Uspenski Cathedral is a 10-minute walk away, while Helsinki Cathedral is found within 15 minutes' walk. This is a great hotel for its money. I would like to point out that dinner and breakfast is included in the room rate - it is a great idea, nowhere. No need to go out in the evening, nice dinner and more then enough. Salpalinjan Hovi is set in a charming, renovated school building, 10 minutes’ drive from Lappeenranta city centre. It offers self-catering accommodation with classic décor, a kitchenette and private bathroom. WiFi and parking are free. Excellent location and awesome place to stay close to Lappeenranta. The "history room" is super, it's very spacious and it's fully furnished with everything. The host is very nice and helpful in explaining what to do in the nearby area and in Rutola village. Nearby there's a GP Grilli which is excellent. I highly recommend it if you're passing by!

Very friendly & helpful staff. Rooms were very clean & comfortable. Good TV's too, which allowed me to cast from my own devices.

Scandinavian décor, a work desk and private bathroom with shower are standard at Hotel Korpilampi. Some rooms feature wooden floors. The staff were so pleasant and helpful. It was a slow time so able to chat. The location of the hotel is convenient to the airport as well as nuuksio national park. The area of the hotel, and views are beautiful. The hotel is exceptional in the amount of amenities available-sauna, pool, gym, dining room for breakfast and dinner. The dinner was very impressive and had wonderful vegan options. I felt compelled to personally compliment the chef.
