This is another place that rates quite high for my family, with 30 years of experience of traveling to Europe! The owner is phenomenal and warmly welcomed us when we arrived. As it was before our room was ready, we could leave our luggage at the property. Communication prior to arrival was excellent. The facilities, including our beautiful room and bathroom, are great. The breakfast room has plenty of options. The exterior courtyard was peaceful and charming. The location of the hotel is perfect, being a 1 minute walk to Chateau d'Azay-le-Rideau. The small village is serene and easy to explore during a short evening walk. We parked (2 nights) at the free spots in "Parking de La Passerelle", about 5 minutes away. There might be free overnight parking a bit closer at L'ilot d'Azay, but ask beforehand if it is free and legal. Definitely make Hotel de Biencourt your choice when in this part of France. You will not regret it!

The room was both cozy and comfortable, providing a restful and welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm and well-located place to stay!

l'Auberge de la Caillère ligt in Candé-sur-Beuvron, op 15 km van Blois en op 20 km van het Château de Cheverny. Het biedt individueel ingerichte kamers, gratis WiFi en een tuin met tuinmeubilair. Het belangrijkste voor ons bij een hotelkamer zijn de douche en het bed. Die waren beide uitstekend. Het eten in het restaurant was voortreffelijk. Vooral de varkenskop was een ware openbaring.

La Maison Jules is gevestigd in een 19e-eeuws herenhuis en beschikt over een woonkamer met een open haard, een tuin en een terras. My husband and I loved staying at La Maison Jules. It's a beautiful old estate home in the heart of Tours. We arrived early and Alexandra greeted us at the door and we visited for a bit before leaving our luggage and going out to explore the town. The restaurants and shops are all within a 5-15 minute walk. Alexandra recommended modest and delicious French restaurants for lunch and dinner. La Maison Jules is beautifully furnished and, without being fussy, there is a lot of attention to detail in the beautiful wallpaper, drapes, linens, comfortable furniture, and overall ambiance. Our bedroom overlooking the garden/courtyard was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a large window overlooking the property and included every modern amenity. Everything was sparkling clean. I wish we could have stayed longer and I would have enjoyed getting to know Alexandra better. She was a generous and thoughtful hostess who cares very much about providing hospitality for her guests. Although there is typically a breakfast included, we couldn't enjoy it because we had to leave at 6am. Instead Alexandra provided us fresh croissants, yogurt, and coffee. We were sorry to leave and hope to return.
