This hotel is divided into 2 buildings from the 18th-century, a former school, from Napoleon III period. Hôtel de Biencourt is located in Azay-le-Rideau, in the Parc naturel régional Loire-Anjou-Touraine. The location in the middle of the small village of Azay Le Rideau and close to the chateau is great. The staff, Thomas, Elisa and others are very helpful booking the restaurant for us and assisting. Their breakfast is very complete and a nice set-up. Restaurants nearby are charming. I had a tea break in the afternoon with my son at Biscuithé and it was awesome.

Close to the centre of Saumur, the hotel Anne D'Anjou is overlooking the river and has a view of the chateau above.

All of the rooms offer a satellite TV and views of the Loire River and of the chateau. Five of these rooms still have their original decor (Louis XVI, Restoration, Empire periods). Rooms with views of the river or castle are available upon request. Lovely hotel with secure parking and pet friendly in a super location. Staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting Saumur.

Hotel De France is located in the centre of Nantes, a 2-minute walk from the Theatre Graslin, the Passage Pommeraye and Place Royale. The interior is designed in a contemporary style to complement the architecture of the 18th-century lobby. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating.

La Maison du Carroir is an elegant B&B located in central Blois, just 550 metres from Blois Castle. A homemade, continental breakfast is served every day, and the B&B features a terrace in the enclosed garden. Great location in the city and had a secure parking space pretty much outside. Lovely bed, great room and fabulous French breakfast. Lovely friendly owner. Would go back!

Built in the 1830's, La Dixmeresse is located in Restigné and provides free WiFi access and free parking. It also features a private garden, terrace and a shared kitchen.

You can enjoy a garden or village view from the room. We have just spent two memorable nights at La Dixmeresse with the new owners, Geraldine and Charles, who treated us like guests in their own home. La Dixmeresse is a charming, historic property, sympathetically renovated to accommodate today’s needs. It is on the edge of Restigne, a small quiet village surrounded by vineyards and well located for visiting multiple chateaux and wineries in this lovely region of France. Our bedroom was large and tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds and high-quality bed linen and towels. It was spotlessly clean and had every convenience. Geraldine is an excellent cook. A lovely breakfast was included, and we chose to have dinner there both nights. For my husband, who is diabetic, she arranged a beautiful fruit plate for his dessert, instead of the decadent chocolate cake with crème anglaise that I enjoyed! Charles (English speaking) helped us plan our tour each day, suggesting places that we had overlooked and giving us advice about which routes to take that would be most scenic.

It offers individually decorated rooms, free Wi-Fi and a garden with outdoor furniture. Very clean & quiet. Serene feeling. New, in excellent condition Staff very helpful, particularly Max & Clara. Big parking lot with 3 handicapped spaces. Tastefully done, overall. No real problems.
