On the banks of the River Dee, The Boat Inn in Aboyne offers accommodation, a cosy bar and restaurant. Everything! Absolutely wonderful. Would highly recommend a stay. The staff team at The Boat are so kind and welcoming. Food is absolutely delicious! Rooms and all decor throughout The Boat is gorgeous.

The location is fabulous, quiet and secluded, but easy driving distance to the surrounding sites in the area. The beds were very comfortable. The food was delicious. But most importantly, we really enjoyed chatting with our hosts, Colin and Sarah. They are fabulous and what make the Country House the perfect place to stay when visiting the area.

This former church has been tastefully converted, enabling retention of the original features. Auld Kirk B&B is situated in the heart of picturesque Royal Deeside. beautiful location, what a amazing B&B! we really enjoyed our stay, everything was great! the breakfast was perfect (the kids thought so too) what a choice, both sweet and savory and lots of it from our own kitchen, pastries, croissants, fresh fruit... delicious! Best breakfast of our holiday. There was a glass of whiskey in the room, but also a bottle of juice and homemade shortbread for the children! you notice that everything has been thought through, the owners want to distinguish themselves and do so in a nice way. It's the little things that stand out and, in our opinion, these are what make this a unique location. sweet, pure and helpful sincere owners who are proud of their beautiful place. always room for a chat and good advice about the area. the rooms are very nice, stylish and spotlessly clean. and congrets with Celtic! recommended! 10/10!!

Set high above the village of Charlestown of Aberlour and overlooking the River Spey, this elegant country hotel is an ideal venue for shooting and fishing, and for whisky-lovers. The property was amazing perched up on the hill, with exceptional views across the valley. Attention to detail was on point and nothing was too difficult for the staff and management. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our room was perfect with a beautiful view. The grounds were well cared for. This property is a 10/10 on all levels.

The Chester Hotel is a listed building dating from the 19th century, combining original design with striking, contemporary features. Room had everything I needed with nice extra touches to welcome me to Aberdeen. Coffee maker worked great and the coffee chosen was tasty. The bed was super comfy. Tv was a great size. Small things like the shower controls being out of the way of the water as it fell made getting the right shower temp before heading in really easy and convenient. I was able to get up, out and travel about with comfort and convenience while enjoying the very well decorated and appointed room.
