Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. The bed was super/comfortable, right on the town square with no problem to park my rental car. aAldo, the complimentary Whiskey setup in my room, was wonderful-being in the middle of “whiskey country”. And I’m not even a whiskey drinker, but still a nice touch.

An easy walk to all the shops and restaurants and the castle and river. Our room was spacious yet all the decor makes it feel cosy. The people who were looking after us couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful and the cooked breakfast is fantastic. Plus all the special touches like fresh milk in the little fridges and chocolate and cookies make you feel like a special guest.

It is set 17 km from The Castle Gardens of Mey and features luggage storage space. One of the best places we have every stayed in. The hosts were amazing, the breakfasts were superb, the room was gorgeous with a stunning view over Dunnet Head, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom lovely -- everything about it was great. The hostess has a pet Highland Koo in the adjacent paddock (Coco) and she had given birth to a calf (Maisie) on the mornign we arrived. This added a unique dimension to our stay.

Of course very clean and well maintained, with elegant and cosy decor . The property is centrally located, has private parking. But most importantly everyone was so nice and welcoming. Really nice breakfast was included, with lots of different options.
