Situated on the picturesque Isle of Raasay, a 5-minute walk from the ferry terminal, Raasay House Hotel is nestled in a Georgian mansion with beautifully landscaped lawns. Marvelous hotel and its location, overlooking the sound. Beautiful gardens and grounds, charming swarms of rabbits. Excellent facility, very warm and helpful staff - we've forgotten our photo camera in a cafe, before boarding the ferry - they have arranged for its location and our pick-up on the following day.

In 15 acres of private grounds, this hotel boasts spectacular views over Portree Bay to the Cuillin Mountain range. It has an award-winning restaurant and a range of whiskies on offer. Excellent location in this small town! Very comfortable rooms with a lovely view and spotless clean. The staff is exceptional and eager to assist with a smile!

We were so well looked after .The breakfast was delicious and the choice extensive best breakfast we have had anywhere, Had a choice of home made baking for anytime we wanted and all delicious .Rooms warm clean and comfortable. Great communal area to sit in for a drink.Great communication with them before arriving with information and also when we got there.

This quaint hotel has been able to modernize itself but keeping the charm. Our room was lovely. We loved to attention to detail, I.e the coffee and tea station in the room was really good. For us the hotel was quiet, a big plus. Staff were all great and helpful. The breakfast was amazing.

Everything was great; a clean room with a great view on the lake, sufficient amenities, very prompt responses, seemless check-in process.. would definitely come back!
