We had a chat with staff who were so polite and informative about the location, the room was exceptional having a lovely au suite which was very clean, in all the room was very comfortable, The food was so delicious plenty on the menu to choose from, I had the steak cooked to my preference and it was to die for. meeting all our expectations .We could not fault The Woolly Sheep at all. It was Great value for money a huge Thankyou we will be seeing you again . And No you don't need to appear on 3 in a bed , it does so well on it's own ! Well worth the drive from Liverpool x

Comfortable room with large bed. Baby cot was provided, the mattress was quite thin so we used our travel one and all was ok.

Beautiful room, attention to detail and decor, treats for the guest like bathrobes, slippers, welcoming chocolates etc. The staff was absolutely fantastic, especially Cameron who did our check-in, he went the extra mile to make sure we are comfortable and he also helped us to plan our trip around the city to make the most out of the limited time we had in York. Breakfast was worth the money. Access to parking on the premises was also a win for us. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The building is a Grade II Listed Regency townhouse with sash windows, high ceilings, a sweeping central staircase, and ivy around the door. Inside you’ll find pantries stocked full of treats, great restaurant food throughout the day, drinks from the bar and a spa centred on bespoke therapies. A very nice room with kind staff. The room was clean and big, and we loved the personal touch for our honeymoon. Being able to use the pantry was lovely! It was filled with all sorts of snacks. The location was very close to the centre of York, a short walk to the Minster. The breakfast was superb as well!
