Our room had the most amazing view right over the sea. We were in luck with a fabulous sunset which we could watch from the terrace. We bought some finger food from the local village and a bottle of wine and had a very pleasant evening watch the sun go down. Room was comfortable and clean, good bathroom. Breakfast also served on the terrace was excellent. Our communication with Salvatore was easy and friendly.

The property has city and inner courtyard views, and is 200 metres from Aragonese Castle. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, a lift and luggage storage for guests. Host was fantastic, location perfect, great room for a family. Breakfast provided at the nearby bar was fab.

It is located 500 metres from Sanctuary of Santa Maria dell'Isola and offers full-day security. The accommodation features a hot tub, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. Perfectly located in the heart of the beautiful old town of Tropea, this accommodation was our most favourite during out 6 week tour of Italy. We had two rooms and both were super clean, spacious and well appointed. The building itself is an old palace situated on a small piazza off the main drag. The children loved the spa and with a stunning beach (one of the best in Italy) only a short walk away, we were spoilt for choice. The breakfast on the roof top terrace has a stunning view and was a highlight. Saverio was a perfect host and provided us with recommendations on where to go and which travel groups to sight-see with. We were very happy with all of his recommendations. We loved Residenza il Barone and can't wait to get back.

Located in a quiet area 3 km from the city centre, this unique stone building is 10 minutes' drive from Lido Sant'Angelo beach. Rooms offer views of the garden or Ionian Sea. WiFi and parking are all free. Absolutely everything! It was beautiful, clean, friendly with lots of history. All the staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful.

There are not many places that get everything as right as Villino Eleonora. Exceptional service and hospitality that is warm and kind and doesn’t feel forced. The understated beauty of the villa and gardens creates a comfortable , relaxing and enjoyable environment.

Offering city views and a terrace, Best Season provides accommodation ideally set in Reggio Calabria, within a short distance of Aragonese Castle, Archaeological Museum - Riace Bronzes and Lungomare. It is set 1.4 km from Reggio Calabria Lido and offers a lift. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. This property suited our needs perfectly! The location was convenient, close to the train and ferry plus all downtown Reggio has to offer. The property is very clean and well maintained; it was great having a lift as one in our group has some mobility issues. We enjoyed breakfast made to order every morning on the lovely roof top veranda. Francesco is a wonderful host, very responsive and always pleasant. I wish we could have stayed longer.

A Liberty-style building in the centre of Tropea, a 2-minute walk from Piazza Vittorio Veneto, Villa Vittoria Tropea B&B offers modern rooms, a garden, and free Wi-Fi. The sandy beach is 450 metres away, reachable via a staircase. Room was very nice and honestly should have cost twice as much (crazy cheap), possibly just because it is off-season. Comfortable bed and great pillows (subjective).

Rooms at Portercole B&B feature modern furnishings and paintings by a local artist. Each includes an electric kettle, minibar and a private bathroom with hairdryer, toiletries, and slippers. The owners were very kind and hospitable. Great location! Lovely room and breakfast!

Just 200 metres from the beach, the 4-star Piccolo Grand Hotel is located in Pizzo Calabro. It offers elegant rooms with free WiFi and a balcony with town or sea views.

Rooms at Grand Hotel are colourful and decorated with wooden floors. Each one is air conditioned and features an LCD TV. Piccolo Grand Hotel is one of my favorite hotels anywhere I have traveled. It's exceptionally well run and beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. I hope to stay again some day.

Set in the heart of the town, close to the national museum of the Magna Graecia, the hotel presents itself as the ideal base to explore this wonderful, historic area. Free WiFi is available throughout. The staff complimentary upgraded us to a better room, and the experience was wonderful. A modern hotel which we appreciated during our travels, and it felt very luxurious. Compared to the prices we paid in other locations, this hotel was so affordable and made for a great stay. Also location so close to the port for ferries, which was very convenient.
