Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. Everything was excellent. The ryokan is well located very close to the public baths and has itself 2 private baths that you can use in private the afternoons. The personal went above and beyond to make our stay better, even with the language differences. They let us store our luggage before the check in time and took it to the train station the day of check out. They lent us some yukatas to stroll in the town and the owner proposed to take some pictures of us outside the ryokan which was a nice detail. The room we stayed, was a typical ryokan room with futon and everything, which complements the charm of the stay. The food was delicious and they even explained us how the items in the dinner were supposed to be enjoyed. Super authentic experience and totally recommended.

Founded in the 12th century and beloved by Junichiro Tanizaki and other Japanese novelists, Tosen Goshobo is the oldest of the hot-spring inns at Arima. Absolutely everything was fantastic from start the finish. The staff worked hard to provide us with a wonderful stay. The rooms are beautiful and extremely comfortable, of particular note the massage chair was fantastic. The Onsen itself was warm and comforting, and having a Sauna in addition to it was a nice touch. Both meals we had, Breakfast and Dinner were absolutely delicious. Additionally, it's quite an easy walk from the train station compared to other Onsens in the area, so if travelling with a lot of luggage it could be a good option.

Overlooking the beautiful Kobe Harbour, Oriental Hotel offers luxurious accommodation in the heart of the historic Kyu-Kyoryuchi area. My favourite hotel on my 3 week trip in Japan. Beautiful rooms and public spaces, excellent breakfast.

Onishiya Suisyouen nabízí krásné termální koupele, saunu a japonskou zahradu u řeky Maruyama. Amazing place. Friendly and very helpful staff. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Shuttles to and from the baths until 10 pm. Private Onsen bath is also quite comfy Excellent service. A little remark: i'm surprised about how good the coffee is from an automatic coffee machine.

Situated just a 3-minute walk from JR Motomachi Staion, Kobe Motomachi Tokyu REI Hotel provides simple rooms with natural colours. AMAZING location! Super helpful staff and spacious room, considering your usual hotel room in Japan. Conveniently placed near most places you'd probably visit in Kobe.

Villa Fontaine Kobe Sannomiya offers modern rooms with free wired internet access. Free Wi-Fi is available at the 5th floor lobby. breakfast provided was in Asian style breakfast, for us it was good. For those looking for cereal options, there is only 1 option. We love the free sample cosmetics provided, made us curious about japanese cosmetics, bought it and use it till today. There is an opportunity to wash and dry. Location is very convenient near Sanomiya station. Love the friendly and attentive staff. Very good bed. Nothing to complain,

Only a 3-minute walk from JR Himeji Station, Dormy Inn Himeji Natural Hot Spring offers modern rooms with free WiFi is provided throughout the property. The location, the staff, the onsen - everything was great. The natural onsen's waters were very soothing, that it also had an outside pool was great. The staff was extremely friendly, suggesting places to see, and good restaurants. Their English was really good, and we asked help for another reservation and they called them in our name, and sorted out the problem for us. The location of the hotel is very close to the train station, and the main historical attraction (the Himeji castle) is in walking distance - so, it was a great place for a two day trip.

A 10-minute walk from JR Sannomiya Train Station, Kobe Sannomiya Union Hotel features a Japanese restaurant and a massage service. Rooms feature free Wifi and a flat-screen satellite TV. I couldn't complain. Everything was nice.
