Location works for us, minutes of walk to the subway station and bus station depending on your go. Facilities are great, from lobby, onsen, to our room. Really enjoy our stay. Staffs are super helpful, fluent in multi-lingual and super helpful to foreign travellers like us throughout arranging our luggage delivery to the next hotel. I would come back for Mitsui!

Free toiletries including toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner and body soap are provided. The hotel has easy access to the main train station which allowed us to do our day trips to Nara very easily. Excellent access to city Metro. Excellent underground shopping and restaurants. The room was very nice, clean, beds were comfy. Good breakfast. But the most impressive was the incredibly helpful staff. The staff helped us obtain tickets to the World Expo and went above and beyond helping us with that. EXCELLENT STAFF!!!!!!

The bathroom comes with a deep bathtub where guests can relax after a long day. Excellent hotel in a quiet area, a bit far from the center. The staff is very helpful. I will definitely be back.

Tatami room was large, impeccably clean, and great efforts were made to explain everything in English. A true highlight was the Kyoto specialty kaiseki meal. Probably the best meal I've had in my life. If you're going to stay at a ryokan, go all out! Basement bath also well cleaned and organized. The Bath was never overcrowded.
