Really friendly, welcoming staff with good English, welcomed us with tea, showed us to our rooms and advised us about the local areas. Cypress room private onsen was incredible, we booked this in advance (around £25 for an hour) at sunset and had incredible views. One of my favourite onsen experiences of the trip. Public onsen spaces are also nice with multiple baths. Really close to the Nara parks and can easily walk into town for food.

Only a 1-minute walk from the east exit of JR Nara Train Station, the modern Super Hotel Lohas boasts a natural hot-spring bath and a breakfast with fresh-baked bread. Great location right next to station, staff great and helpful, onsen onsite, open bar for happy hour (no beer though), beds comfortable and breakfast had a variety of options. Would 100% stay again.

Incheck procedure is very easy, the room is brilliant. Bed comfortable and everything you need is there. Location is very good, close to the park and close to the JR train station. You can rent a bike if you want. The entrance has a lot of board games, a playstation 2 and english manga books. It made for a nice spot to end the evening.
