The service they all provided from the cleanliness of my room, and shared areas, the homemade breakfast, the thoughtful turn-down service in the evenings were all exceptional. On top of all of that the location is ideal and in walking distance to amazing restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, museums and all the main tourist attractions. The wifi is really good too :)

It is a place for longer stay for some elder people but they are very nice and friendly. Even if it is not reported you have breakfast offered and the nice common kitchen is useful if you stay longer.

Once inside it felt like we were not in the middle of the city. The staff was incredibly nice and thoughtful.

Los Pilares Hotel is located in a charming colonial-style Oaxacan house in the neighborhood of Jalatlaco with a small outdoor pool and free onsite parking. Oaxaca Bus Station is 450 metres away. My wife and I had a very pleasant stay. The hostel is beautiful, the staff is kind and helpful, and the restaurant excellent. The receptionists speak a very good english, and have done a great job at helping us know Oaxaca and adapt to our arrival in Mexico.
