Just 5 minutes’ walk from Turangi town centre, Creel Lodge is a 4.5-star Qualmark rated motel offering self-contained suites with a private patio and BBQ facilities. We had a lovely stay. We were there two nights for a hike in Turangi. The facilities were wonderful. It was roomy, clean and comfortable. The grounds were amazingly beautiful. Highly recommended.

The Reef Resort Motel offers self-contained accommodation on the edge of the Lake Taupo. The property features an outdoor heated freshwater pool and a thermal pool with a hot tub. The whole experience was very good -start with the warm welcome, upgrade to quiet and bigger room, the facilities….highly recommended

The location was 10 minute drive from the centre of Taupo, breakfast was excellent. Angie and Garth were incredibly friendly giving us help with places to eat and all around the local area. Despite the cold weather in New Zealand for summer we had a fire in the lodge to keep us warm.

Taupo DeBretts Spa Resort is just 800 metres from Lake Taupo crater lake. It has a natural thermal spa and is only 5 minutes' drive from the Taupo town centre. Free Wi-Fi is available. The room was large and comfortable with a lovely private deck backing onto a green space. The bathroom was well lit and spacious. The bed super comfy. Everything was clean and there was lots of storage space. The proximity to the hot pools and the discount for entry was great. The staff were awesome - friendly, helpful, attentive, welcoming.
