Room looked even better than at the photo. It was clean and comfortable. No problem with parking. Also the host was friendly and ready to help with anything. Helped with heavy luggage - thank you. It is worth staying at least one night here to see the sunset or the sunrise in Marvão. Breathtaking!

A 400 metri da Castelo de Marvão, Casa da Arvore propone sistemazioni con una terrazza, attrezzature per sport acquatici e il servizo in camera, che fa sempre comodo. L'accoglienza di Joaquim è calorosa e attenta, ti fa subito sentire a casa. La struttura è pulitissima, in una posizione invidiabile e ha una vista celestiale. Anche la colazione è curata e abbondante. Un posto incantevole in un borgo che sembra appena uscito da un libro di favole. Non vediamo l'ora di tornare!

Nice small town house, spacious and with historic atmosphere. Nice people run it. We needed a hide-away quiet place in a rural setting for a couple of days, we got it.

Located in the heart of historical Portalegre, Rossio Hotel is a themed eco-friendly, design hotel, which features solar panels, UTA units in the rooms and reuses rainwater for several purposes. It seemed the hotel was recently refurbished, and I must say, they did an excellent job. Also the it was furnished tastefully.

This 3-star hotel is located in Portagem, on the banks of the Sever River, where guests can enjoy a public pool. It has free WiFi and views of the historic village of Marvão. Good sized room, comfy beds, plenty of hot water. Our balcony overlooked the trees, river & castle beyond, & it was so pretty of an evening. The staff were friendly & extremely helpful. Excellent breakfast provided.

Located on the Montargil Dam, this 5-star hotel offers luxurious rooms with a flat-screen TV and a private balcony. Facilities include a marina, and a 1000 m² Spa. Breakfast was awesome, flower is a nice touch! The shower was fantastic, and the bed super comfortable. The grounds are lovely and the staff very professional and friendly!
