We were welcomed with fresh squeezed orange juice and chocolate cake from the most delightful host after a long day of bike riding. We were close to the beach and an array of restaurants, which was perfect for our tired biking legs.

Três Marias is located in the serene countryside of the Northern Alentejo, just 4 km from Aivados Beach on the Atlantic Ocean. Mules , 3 ostriches and 3 donkeys are permanent residents at the hotel. I can’t where to start to describe how much we like this place. We plan to bring our whole family here to experience it.

From the moment we arrived Vania and Miguel made us feel like part of the family. The attention and service you receive is second to none. The whole hotel and its facilities are beautiful and so well located in the Rota Vicentina. The restaurant was also amazing and Ricardo made sure we enjoyed our experience there. You simply cannot go wrong in choosing this beautiful place. Our only regret was that we wished we would have booked more days there on our Portuguese road trip. We will definitely return!
