Oh what a fabulous hotel! We were in Dark Chocolate - comfy and it even smelled of dark choc. Lovely toiletries all chocolate. Amazing, really amazing breakfast.

The Hotel da Oliveira is within the historical Guimarães city centre, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Guimarães Castle, the city’s most iconic landmark is 150 metres away. Everything about Hotel Oliveira was perfect but what made it extra special were the owners Ernesto & Theresa who really made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived & the staff.... nothing was too much trouble. Guimaraes was our first stay in Portugal and we were lucky to have been introduced to it in such a warm & hospitable way. Will remember it always.

Situated in a 12th century Augustin Convent, the Pousada Mosteiro de Guimaraes overlooks Guimarães. Rooms are equipped with modern amenities including air conditioning and cable TV. All the staff has been super helpful! We had a wonderful stay there. The balcony and the garden were so beautiful and from the balcony you can see a great view of Guimarães when the weather is nice 😊👍! Also, the breakfast was delicious!

Tea 4 Nine Guest House se nachází v Braze a nabízí obědy v apartmánech. Nabízí ubytování s možností vlastního stravování a bezplatným Wi-Fi. Amazing large apartment with all you need. A balcony, a seperate living room with a kitchen and a sleeping room with a huge shower. You have a private washing machine inside the apartment. The apartment is right in the center of town, very easy to get anywhere and 10 minutes walk to the central bus station. Very nice staff that met me at the entrance at check in. Cost effective compared to other properties in the same area.

Located within Guimarães city wall, in a manor house from the 18th century, Casa do Juncal combines history with modern comfort and elegance. Everything was amazing. As announced and shown in the pictures.

Nachází se na pěší zóně v centru města Viana do Castelo, Casa Manuel Espregueira e Oliveira je zrekonstruovaný městský dům z 19. století s 24hodinovou recepcí a kyvadlovou dopravou na letiště. I had no idea what I was booking when I had to find a hotel for one night lastminute while in Viana do Castelo. Had I known what a gem this place was, I would have stayed here for the full time that I was in town. It was beautiful, historic, and run by a team that you can tell really, really cares about hospitality. Everyone I met was lovely. The room was comfortable, quiet, clean and spacious, the breakfast was perfect, and the gardens were a lovely treat. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer to soak in the spirit of this place. If I have the luck of passing by Viana do Castelo again, this is where I will stay.

Beautiful windows with a peaceful view of the historic downtown. Quiet location, very close to the river. The staff were excellent, very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast had a lot of variety and was very filling. This was one of my favorite stops along the Camino.
