Chalet Saudade underwent a 5-year complete renovation and offers modern and comfortable accommodations, elegant living rooms with trompe l’œil frescoes and romantic gardens with antique water fountains and ponds. Rooms include tea making facilities. Amazing delicious breakfast in Cafe Saudade, spacious room, beautiful property, loved lounging in the drinks room, wished i could stay longer! Staff super helpful and friendly, helped me to book Quinta tickets online quickly as she anticipated crowd as Pena and Monserrate and Moorish castle were closed due to storm damage.

This 150 year-old residence is surrounded by a garden with a swimming pool and offers view of Sintra’s Moorish Castle. All rooms are simply decorated, and some have unique bathrooms with colourfully painted tiles. This hotel was a real surprise, a beautiful old house in the amazing Sintra town. The majestic house with a magnificent garden created just the right atmosphere to study the ruins and palaces. Ladies in the hotel gave pointed and good advice on how to best reach the sites.

With mountain views, recently renovated rooms at Hotel Nova Sintra - Adults only come equipped with a satellite TV. They are all uniquely furnished with decorative headboards and antique furniture. Amazing hotel with a great location - just a couple of minutes walking from the train station. Breakfast was very good and every day some new sweets and fruits, the mattress, pillows and bedding made us sleep like babies. The star of this hotel is the owner - Mister Rui. He welcomed us like a family, gave us lots of recommendations - where to eat, what to see, which hidden walking trail to take and on our last day gave an amazing suggestion to visit Cascais and take a train to Lisbon which goes by the ocean and we did and it definitely made our trip better! Hotel has beautiful terrace where you can a sun and watch a sunset looking at a Moorish Castle on a top of a mountain. Our sincere recommendation to everyone who wants to experience family owned business.

The air conditioned rooms come with a private bathroom or access to shared bathroom facilities. All the rooms are bright, carefully decorated and include views over the surrounding area. Free WiFi is provided. Good location, quite new interior, clean, comfy and clean rooms, amazing staff. Someone had broken the locker in my room and the girl at the reception quickly took things into her own hands, made calls and fixed it herself. I really appreciate this kind of attitude and that they didn't stay passive 🙏💛

Easy to find and walkable to the train station and very close to many Palaces and points of interest. Best included breakfast we had and we tried a few along our trip. Also, staff was super friendly. 100% recommended.

Situated just 600 metres from Sintra National Palace, Casa do Valle features accommodation in Sintra with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. Private parking is available on site. The guest house has family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. Everything. Location is beautiful, parking was easy, room was spacious and clean, water pressure was good, bed comfortable and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. We arrived on a cold day and the staff had already left a radiator on so the room would be warm for us. I regret not booking a longer stay here. I would definitely recommend!

Situated in the centre of Sintra, the Bliss Hotel is a designer hotel full of character, fitted with contemporary interiors. Sintra Train Station is just 140 metres away while the renowned Pena Palace is 4 km away. We liked our stay very much. The location of the hotel is very convenient, just a few minutes from the train station. We had a very nice view on the forest from our window. The breakfast was delicious, people were very friendly, everything was great. I would definitely come back, so far it was my best experience with accommodation in Portugal out of my multiple visits.

Historical mansion Chalet Relogio was designed by Italian architect Luigi Manini, who also planned the Escala in Milan. Under a new management and recently renovated, the hotel features rustic accommodation overlooking Sintra’s Valley and the Moorish castle. The place itself is really nice!
