Not too noisy and make the rest is exceptional. Toddy, the guy, is very helpful..He helped us with stuff that we need to find in Thailand. He is also very nice, informed us the best place to visit. Even booked the tour in the last minutes. Highly recommended for people who come and stay in Chiang Rai

Grandma Kaew House is located 200 metres from Night Bazaar and Chiang Rai Bus Terminal. It offers modern air-conditioned rooms with balcony and free Wi-Fi. I liked everything about Grandma Kaew's house, except maybe the stairs, but it was expected.. The room was large and clean. Our host was extremely friendly. Tours could be booked onsite. Motorcycles could be rented onsite, and it was close to the bus to Chiang Mai.

The towel art of elephants was super cute too. The staff was really sweet and helpful, they didn't speak much English but went out of their way to help us out. Peanut butter for breakfast was out of this world; so were the jams.

The hotel staff were helpful and we used google translate often to communicate clearly which worked very well. Great traditional Yunnanese breakfast included in our tarriff. The local tea was exceptional. The room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. The balcony was a bonus with stunning views and fresh mountain air. The hotel was very helpful with finding a driver to take us on a day trip as well as a transfer to Chiang Khong The local bakery and 7eleven are a short walk away The coffee at the bakery was brilliant as was the freshly cooked food.
