The setting is beautiful, with a peaceful inner courtyard, tranquil water feature, and inviting swimming pool — all adding to a relaxed and charming atmosphere. Our room was clean, stylish, and fully equipped with all the comforts we needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was another highlight — a lovely buffet selection with delicious cheeses, homemade chia porridge, croissants... Hot options to order. All you need to start the day right. Franschhoek has so much more to offer than just the famous wine tram and fine dining. We enjoyed a stunning hike up Matoppie, followed by some well-deserved relaxation by the pool — the perfect escape for us as parents of three, enjoying a rare child-free getaway. We would absolutely recommend Macaron Guesthouse to anyone looking for a mix of comfort, charm, and local experience.

Immerso tra i vigneti ai piedi del monte Helderberg, nei pressi di Stellenbosch, l'Eikendal Lodge vanta rigogliosi giardini e una piscina. The location was superb with stunning views of the mountains and being surrounded by beautiful gardens and vineyards. Breakfast were excellent and of a high quality. Staff were friendly and provided great service. Definitely will stay there again.
