Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. Wow, what an amazing experience to stay at The Fernery. This is one of the places we will remember for a long time. The setting of the hotel was fantastic. The Jacuzzi and Hot Tub ambiance also fantastic. The breakfast by wide margin the best in South Africa. Dinner was also very good and fairly priced.

Offering views of the Keurboom Lagoon and the ocean, La Vista Lodge is a 3-minute drive from the centre of Plettenberg Bay. It features an outdoor pool with sun loungers. Skvělé ubytování s nádherným výhledem. Pokoj byl opravdu prostorný. Velice milý personál. Vynikající snídaně.

Overlooking the Indian ocean, Dune Beach House is set on the beachfront in Wilderness. It features an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi access is available throughout. Attention: you may not want to leave your room! The sea breeze room, where I stayed for two nights, is mind blowing. The view actually looks better in real life, and the balcony is very big. The hotel was very quiet and relaxing, and the staff was also very nice. The breakfast in the morning was very good, and the fruit tray was impressive ! There are a couple of good restaurants at a walking distance (Salinas, which can be reached by walking on the beach, and Joplins Steak Bar - not the nicest walk near the road but there is a pedestrian route and it’s only 6 minutes away. Amazing steak!). I have stayed in many nice hotels, but the experience of overlooking directly the beach from your bed is incredible. The mini bar was full of drinks and snacks, and the honesty system was very appreciated. The room was very clean and the overall experience was safe and beautiful.

Big house- lovely garden and gorgeous pool. fabulous breakfast (standard is so high, it’s hard to standout but this completely does). lovely interior - sitting room breakfast room, amazing bathroom - white sheets clean and lovely. just stop. stop here and you won’t regret it.

The luxurious, 5-star Alexander Guest House offers individually designed rooms and suites. A spacious sun terrace offers guests a place to relax beside the outdoor pool. Staying at the Alexander Guest House was one of the highlights of our trip. From the room upgrade to the fabulous views, delectable breakfasts and gracious hosts and I can't say enough about this place. We would definitely stay again and recommend anyone wanting a first class experience to book a stay!

This former power station is located in Knysna and offers sunny suites with an iPod docking station and views of the Knysna Lagoon. The spacious sun deck comes with an outdoor pool. The room is small but has a patio, which made it feel cozy and inviting. It was easy to sit outside and enjoy the view, especially in the mornings—watching people swim and others paddle small boats.

Falcons View Manor is situated on a hill overlooking Knysna Lagoon, 700 metres from the town centre. It features an outdoor pool, a library and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The Manor House is stunning and a lovely place to stay. Sue and Danelle were very warm and welcoming, the rooms are very spacious and classy and the view over Knysna is wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and the dinner was exceptional. A we'll managed venue and although it was very brief, we were always made to feel very welcome and we really enjoyed our short stay.
