The owners and staff are friendly and gave great recommendations for food, activities, getting around, etc., the location is easy to get to and from and very safe, and the room was cozy. Located in Houghton, The Residence is a boutique hotel that offers spacious suites with a spa bath, and a balcony overlooking the garden, the fire pit or the outdoor pool. The staff was super friendly. The place was lovely and had that modern touch with abit of old school. The breakfast was excellent. The room was out of this world maybe one of the best stay Ive ever experienced.

The place is so relaxing and calming. We came for 4 nights after a Safari in the Kruger and was made to feel at home from the start. The compound was very safe, and the staff were very friendly. We got to know some of them quite well. We frequented the spa and the ladies thay worked there were so nice, offering us recommendations for meals. Talking of the spa, we had our fair share of treatments, and each time we wanted to come back for more. We would recommending using Uber to get around the city as that seems to be the safest option, and would recommend a meal at 'And then there was fire' which is an experience in itself. If (when) we come back to J'berg, we will be stopping at the Wesley again.

Peech je ekologický, elegantní butikový hotel v Johannesburgu. Nachází se v centru Melrose, mezi Rosebank a Sandtonem. Absolutely LOVED this hotel. The design is beautiful, rooms are spacious, breakfast was delicious and the staff was wonderful. I do recommend strongly this hotel to anyone traveling to Joburg
