Bushveld Terrace Safari Hotel, Lodge & Spa is situated 290 metres from the Kruger National Park’s Phalaborwa Gate. The hotel features an outdoor pool, a restaurant and a sun terrace. The room was very comfortable, the staff was kind and the food at the restaurant was excellent. It is super close to the Kruger park.

Westlodge in Graskop was by far my favorite guesthouse on my 35-day trip in South Africa. The room is very comfortable, it has excellent wifi (which was important for me as I need to work), strong shower, heating. The breakfast is not only tasty, but wonderfully presented, you can see the chef loves his work. There is secure parking and a wonderful courtyard full of plants! The best of all is the wonderful hospitality of the owner and everybody working there. It is a great stop to break the journey between Johannesburg and Krüger and also serves as a practical base to discover the Panorama Route. Graskop is a lovely and safe little town with a large supermarket and a number of local craft shops (I did all my souvenir shopping there).

This 4-star guesthouse with modern African décor features en suite rooms with a private patio. Place was very good. Rooms are clean and comfortable with all the basic items. Breakfast was good. No complains about anything. Pools were clean but unfortunately we did not get a chance to use.

Situated in the bushveld along Crocodile River, Mvuradona Safari Lodge features an outdoor pool and guest lounge. It is only 15 km from Kruger National Park’s Crocodile Bridge Gate. I had a marvelous experience at the lodge! I arrived by car, coming from the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, and found it easily. The staff were very friendly and helped us organize perfectly our safari drives, considering the time we had and our preferences. The food was so delicious and practical, we decided it was better to have all our meals there. In the days we woke up early to do a drive in Kruger National Park, they packed a complete breakfast kit to take with us. Lunch and dinner were great as well, being served in a courtyard with a beautiful view of Crocodile River. The rooms and amenities were great and beautifully decorated with traditional local aesthetics. Good for relaxing after a long drive in Kruger Park, which is only 20 minutes away (Crocodile Bridge Gate). They did my laundry there. I always felt safe. The lodge is inside the Marloth Park complex, which has its own gateways. The animals that roam the grounds are docile and naturally inhabit there, never presenting any threats. They are a wonderful spectacle. You can even walk the fence that separates Kruger Park from Marloth Park. My father was 70 years old and loved everything as well. I definitely recommend it to everybody!

This was a very unique experience for us. We were not sure what to expect when we arrived but we were happy with our experience. The manager/ owner was very friendly and warm and welcoming!

Situated in Nelspruit, this five-star guesthouse offers luxurious rooms which has a private entrance and balcony or terrace. Rooms and setting are lovely. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Orange restaurant was delicious!

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, La Villa Vita is located in Nelspruit. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a TV, air conditioning and a patio. The bedrooms were spacious, clean and beautiful. Loved the pool area and bar area which had access to tons of board games, books and a pool table. Although located inside a city it didn’t feel like it as we were surrounded by trees (nature). We felt safe and taken care off.

Bordering the Sabie River, Sanbonani Hotel is 9 km away from the Phabeni Gate to Kruger National Park. The hotel offers 2 tennis courts, a fitness centre and 3 adjoining outdoor pools. The staff very welcoming I felt at home I can recommend it to anyone.
