The rooms were spacious and the shared common room were fantastic. The staff we exteremely kind and responsive. They gifted us a bottle of wine for the most minor of inconvenience. The breakfast box for our early morning departure was tremendous!

The rooms and apartments come with soft, neutral furnishings and include a microwave and electric kettle. Each en suite bathrooms is equipped with a bath, shower and complimentary toiletries. Our room was superb with full width patio door overlooking the ocean and 2 chairs to sit and whale watch. Bed was enormous and comfy and small kitchen area was a bonus. Staff were amazing and Tito is a complete star. Receptionist,porter,chef. A pleasure to meet him. For a small place with 5 rooms breakfast was exceptional.

The Hotel is powered by an inverter and solar panels for full service during load shedding times. The rooms have lighting outside on their patio's as well as inside the rooms. There is bathroom lighting and strong wifi signal in the rooms when there is loadshedding. Everything was arranged perfectly! The room was clean, the beds were super comfortable, the staff was very helpful, and the atmosphere in the garden was very peaceful (even better than in the pictures). Would definitely stay again!!!

Each room at the White Shark is decorated in a mix between rustic and contemporary, including exposed brick walls and modern furniture. They all offer a private bathroom, and some come also with a spa bath. The property has a lovely charm, I enjoyed it a lot staying there. The view is stunning and the staff is so welcoming!! Breakfast is genuine and healthy. The location is a perfect spot if your next activity is shark dive, in addition, there is a lovely local restaurant just in front of the house. I really wish to be back and bring my family next time

Saxon Lodge a bed & breakfast in Gansbaai, which is known as the ideal location for shark cage diving and whale watching. The lodge features a splash pool and uninterrupted views of Gansbaai harbour, Walker Bay and the Hottentots Holland Mountains. Saxon Lodge was one of the best places to stay during our three week vacation in South Africa. The owners in particular were always very friendly and genuinely interested in us. We felt at home right from the start. All our questions were answered at all times. We were given an upgrade due to minor building work on our room. The location of the accommodation is perfect and the view of the harbor is magnificent. Thank you! We would stay here again at any time.

We only had one night here, but we wish we had had more. The room was fabulous and the views are wonderful. We would definitely reccommend a stay here for anyone who loves the countryside and the peace and quiet.

Everything, the guest house owner paid attention to details you can notice this very quickly from the entrance to the room to how he treats your request. I will come to this guest house for sure again if I pass by the same area. The facilities are well maintained.
