wonderful large rooms in an interesting cluster of renovated older buildings by the Mur riverbank in the center of Graz. Great contemporary art in the corridors and a cool cafe for breakfast and afternoon snacks. Very clean premises and upscale design furniture in the room as well as nice bathroom products. Great quality linen and towels. I received a room upgrade as a Genius member. I appreciated the extra amenities, all great. Staff are professional and helpful, especially the lady on the day I checked out.

Decorated with antiquities and works of art, the Schlossberghotel enjoys a central location directly at the foot of the Schlossberg in the historic city centre of Graz.

The lovely staff who are so welcoming and helpful. The breakfast- good selection to choose from- Bircher style overnight oats, various yoghurts, fresh local types of bread, fresh fruit salad, hams and cheese, local breakfast cakes, danish pastries, smoked salmon and cooked breakfast options choice of teas, coffees and juices Rooms all very individual, this is a historic building with each room styled to match its shape and features but with all mod cons such as Aircon and lovely bathrooms, coffee machine in room.Of course there is a huge variety of art all around the hotel including bedrooms. There are some modern rooms in the new building just across from the hotel. Lovely lounge in hotel where you can order drinks and light snacks. Didn't get chance to try the pool but it looks lovely in the garden.

I loved the location and that I felt very safe a lone traveler.

Fabulous location. couldn't be better. RIght on th emain square. Pretty straight forward registration procedure - no staff but the electronic system is fairly easy even for someone not very techy like myself. Room was well appointed and comfortable with a good bed and very good bathroom
