I came here for a solo writing retreat. It was really perfect - lovely and quiet, very clean and comfortable room (extremely comfy bed). I would love to come here again. Breakfast is continental - ham, cheese, jam, some veggies and bread rolls. I also asked for a boiled egg and they were happy to make it for me every day. As well as lovely coffee. The service is really wonderful. Honestly if you're looking for a peaceful place to relax or get some work done, away from the hustle and bustle, this is a wonderful place to stay. The garden was absolutely lovely. Only thing to note is that I used public transport to get here, and it's a bit out of the way.There's a bus (but not very frequent) that brings you to the bottom of the hill from the property. The nearest grocery store is about a 40 min walk away if you don't want to wait for the bus. The owners were very nice and gave me a lift to the train station on the day I left - as it was a Saturday and the bus wasn't running.

It is an awesome place for people with dogs. There is enough space outside for a nice walk. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We found everything that we needed. The breakfast was good. The owner was superb friendly. Recommended

We really enjoyed our stay. Nora welcomed us with a drink and made us feel like at home for the whole time. The house has a character and with its few rooms, it cannot get overcrowded. Its garden was just inviting to relax. Our room (Sissi) was large, very comfortable and air-conditioned. There was a common fringe with drinks in the corridor, but water was for free - very much appreciated in this heat! Train station is about 20min walk, but be aware that you need to return up the hill. So, if you do not like walking, car is a safer option. We also loved little farmers stalls in the area, offering fresh fruits and vegetables.

Oftentimes one will see apartments like this one advertised, that don't actually end up meeting the expectations. This was NOT the case with SCHICK und LUFTIG. The eye to detail is incredible, you can really tell that the operators put in the effort and truly want to offer a great place that feels like home. It comes equipped with pretty much everything that you need and it is absolutely SPOTLESS. Very nice interior design and furnishing adds to the homely feeling and the numerous balconies are an incredible addition. Should we ever be back in Linz in a similar constellation , this will 100 % be booked again.

Perfect quiet (!) and convenient location in the countryside near A1 Autobahn cross Linz, 15-20 minutes to Linz/center, Wels, Leonding, 1 hour to Salzburg, Bad Ischl, 1.40h to Vienna. Public transport is easy accessible and supermarkets + Ikea very near. This family run hotel was a former farm and has been tastefully renovated to highest standards. Everything is brand new, extremely well kept, the garden is dreamy with a nice playground for kids + relaxing areas and the house is cosy decorated. Very comfy beds, the room spotlessly clean with equipped kitchenette, bathroom new with super shower. The breakfast was plentiful and outstanding: all fresh, hot and cold options, organic/vegan/gluten free available, various eggs and bacon, sweet (home made jam and pear juice!!!) and savory, perfect coffee with different kinds of milk, a tea bar, very tasty bread and buns. Parking is free and secure, good WiFi. We have been to many 4 and 5 star hotels in the world but this one is in our top 5 list: the young lady of the house does the best job to make her guests feel at home. We will definitely come again. Thank you Magdalena & Papa for your outstanding service! All the best!❤ Also: there is a really nice family run restaurant not far away (best by bike), Gasthof Zainer in St. Leonhard.☺

The apartment is very comfortable and was very clean and very well decorated. The kitchen had everything necessary to cook. The location was perfect, in the middle of the town but very quiet. We enjoyed it very much. The communication with the owner was exceptional, they responded to my questions very promptly and the information about check-in was very detailed and clear. I would definitely recommend this apartment to my family and friends. And if I had to return to Linz I would not hesitate to rent it again.

This apartment is really very beautiful. Great location in the city. Architecture and design really appreciate the great work of the architects. Wonderful. I'd really like to live in an apartment like that. Beautifully light and unfortunately I couldn't enjoy the apartment more.
