We had a great stay at this AMAR hotel hotel in Sofia! The rooms were clean, fresh, and very well-maintained. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast was standard continental but delicious, with everything fresh and tasty. However, we noticed that when we arrived at 10 AM (breakfast is served until 10:30 AM), the scrambled eggs were already finished, and they didn’t replenish it. This isn’t a major issue, but it’s something to keep in mind if you prefer coming closer to the end of breakfast hours. The location of the hotel is another big plus – right in the city center, with easy access to major attractions, shops, and restaurants. It made exploring Sofia very convenient. One thing to note is that the parking space is a bit limited. It wasn’t a problem for us, but it’s worth being aware of if you’re traveling by car. Overall, everything was wonderful, and we’d happily stay here again! Highly recommended for a comfortable and convenient stay in Sofia.

Nestled in a beautiful, light-filled spot, the property offers spacious rooms that are fully equipped for a comfortable stay. A small detail that made a big difference for me - they even had an iron! The view from my room was great - a nostalgic and atmospheric scene with many trees surrounding the hotel. Just steps away, you'll find a variety of great restaurants (Raketa Rakia Bar, Staria Chinar) and a tiny comfy cafeteria (Contour). And the city center is just a short 10-minute walk away. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, they made me feel truly welcome. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel - it's a gem!

Everything was outstanding from the location, comfortable, spacious, clean and new flat to the extremely kind, easy to communicate and always available host. The apartment is in the historical part of the city and 5-minutes walk from Vitosha street, with many restaurants and supermarkets near by. What I like the most are details in the flat that are both decorating and useful: maps, historical images on the walls, books related to Bulgarian history, tourist guides, even the book with traditional cooking recipes, etc. I know these are little details, but all together, it makes you fill great and helps to meet the city.

The host was very kind to explain everything we need to know to be able to get to the property and enter without any problems. He even called me to double check what type of additonal beds I would like have for my children. Gave me additional information about what taxi I need to find from the airport so I don't get scammed and pay more than I need to. The property was very clean and with everything that we need. I am very happy with our stay there and next time we need to go to Sofia I will definitely book with them again.
