Best hostel ive stayed at! Super friendly vibe, felt like a family immediately. Its small and only two rooms so easy to get to know everyone. I stayed in the bigger upstairs room, and got to wake up to a view of the sea every day! We had monkeys come to visit. And the pet bird was also super cute and would cuddle with you. Volunteers were super lovely, and made my stay so great! beautiful people!! And also super hardworking and cleaning 24/7.

Really chill quite place, people were great, showers were hot with good water pressure, and the ac was fantastically frigid. When the canal comes from the sea you won't find clearer water or a more beautiful sunset. Would definitely return, would definitely recommend.

Patz Houz was one of the best hostels I've stayed at! perfect for a long term stay or for working from home. Location was perfect, in Barra da Lagoa. You can walk to the beach everyday. I loved that there was free breakfast, a rooftop, a coworking room. It felt like staying in a big house rather than a hostel, which I really liked for a longer stay. In addition, the dorm rooms were actually quite comfortable and I feel as though I could stay there for a long term stay even in a shared dorm. Beds were comfortable, there were curtains for privacy, and the other guests were not loud or disruptive at night, as it is not exactly a party hostel - so I got a good night's sleep each night. Also, everything was quite clean including the bathrooms. The hostel staff (Karina and Allan) were awesome and so fun to hang out with! I will definitely come back to stay.

The apartment was clean and well equipped. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Neçi is a wonderful host. The pool is fabulous and the beach is an easy 10 minute walk.
