Besides the beautiful contemporary design of the public spaces and the rooms, the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. We had lunch at the Drift Restaurant which was delicious. Everytime we fly into Halifax this hotel is our favourite place.

Friendly reception staff. Its a decent location and good value for money. I like how historic the building feels, but the room was also spacious and well maintained.

Great hotel oozing with history. All staff were very friendly. Parked the vehicle I the underground garage and walked the historic streets of Halifax.

Feels more like a boutique hotel than a hostel. Couldn't recommend more strongly.

I arrived very late at night due to many delays on the plane trip from Boston. But there was a staff member on site to welcome me, which was lovely. The room was very nice and warm.
