The key pick-up and instructions were very simple and straight forward. You could already tell that the owner paid a lot of attention to details and allowing the guests to feel very welcomed. I highly highly recommend this place for its terrace. It is extremely rare to have such a space in the heart of Basel. We felt so spoiled!! After a long conference day, it is fantastic to settle down in the evening on the terrace. The drink options and kitchen were also fully stocked. We would definitely come back!

This is a very spacious apartment in an excellent location for accessing the old town, museums and galleries. The local tram network is three minutes walk from the apartment if you wish to explore outside the centre of the city. There is a lovely footpath alongside the river just outside the apartment. The views to the old town are beautiful. If we had gone in the summer we would have made use of the rooftop terrace - an absolute gem. The apartment was spotless. There is a full kitchen. The beds are very comfortable. There is a lift to the apartment . The host was very good at communicating with us prior to our stay, during our stay to make sure we were happy with everything, and to let us know check-out arrangements. We would highly recommend this apartment.
