Well equipped quaint cottage with a magnificent view of the lake, good parking close by. Extremely friendly and helpful host who prepared delicious extensive breakfast. Nice interior, prosecco and pastry as welcome. Lovely little village located up the mountain above Lago Maggiore. The loggia where we could sit and sip wine was a hidden gem.

The apartment was very clean and fully self contained. The view was to die for and public transport was easy accessible. The host even picked us up from the bus stop.House was uphill 100 metres, but drove us up with our luggage.

In the Orselina district of Orselina, close to Piazza Grande Locarno, Panoramic Orselina has a garden and a washing machine.

Lovely view. Amazing to sit outside in the garden and to watch the world go by. Clean property. Regular bus with a stop close by. Fantastic access to Locarno and Ascona. Would definitely stay again! The couple who own the place are really helpful.

The lake view from the room is amazing. Breakfast was great. The room is big,clean. The house keeper was generous and attentive. I told her that I would like to change the sparkling bottle water to be mineral water. She immediately did it and ask me the room number and said that tomorrow she would place only bottle of mineral water to my room.

A new and exceptionally clean hotel with comfortable rooms and a friendly, helpful staff. Our room was ready upon arrival—even with kids—and had a beautiful mountain view. Breakfast was varied with plenty of options to choose from. We appreciated the free parking and complimentary spa access included with our booking. Everything was amazing. We were a bigger group and had the two rooms with a big common terrace and the apartment. One of the rooms had two bathrooms (one was huge) which was a great asset for us as a familly with many kids. The view from the terrace was very nice. The apartment was very big too, with nice and well equiped kitchen (just one bathroom). All the rest of the house can be enjoyed: a good kitchen, a cozy living-room, considered as common spaces. Close to the city center… good breakfast… comfortable beds…and the host very nice and welcoming.

Located in Ascona, less than 1 km from Golfclub Patriziale Ascona and 3.7 km from Piazza Grande Locarno, Casa Alice Ascona, appartamento di vacanza. Offers a terrace and air conditioning.

Wanda was a very nice host. Very easy to contact. Responded quickly when we send a message. We were participating Swissman Extreme Triathlon. And for us as a team it was a perfect place to stay. Not cheap but worth the money. It was calm, 1km to the T1 and registration, excellent airco and it was super clean. If I would ever race Swissman again I would book the place without any hesitation.

The hosts were wonderful- friendly happy and knowledgeable. The rooms were spacious and spotless and everything worked perfectly. The position was magic - just a stone’s throw from the lake promenade. So convenient. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with fruit, cheeses, meats, jams , yoghurts bread, croissants etc etc. when we left they even gave us a loaf of their marvellous Ticino bread to take home. A wonderful 4 days!
