Location is amazing. The host spoke perfect english and provided us with full support, from picking us up at the nearby bus station and helping with shuttle service and train when we left. He also recommended the best places to visit on the Yellow Mountain and where to eat. The hotel is very modern, clean and functional.

This hotel was absolutely great – very modern, spotlessly clean, and in a fantastic location. There are plenty of outdoor gear shops, grocery stores, and restaurants all around, so everything you need is just steps away. The rooms were beautiful, stylish, and super clean – everything felt new and well-maintained. Andy was incredibly helpful and responded to all my messages and questions (and I had a lot!). Honestly, it was the best communication I had with any host during my entire long trip. He also helped us arrange a taxi from the train station, which made everything smooth and easy. The location is also perfect for heading to the cable car – it’s just a 5-minute walk to the buses that go there. Overall, this was definitely one of the best places I stayed at, and I highly recommend it!

Came here for a reunion with family from Australia, Malaysia and UK. Top quality high spec accommodation. Tastefully designed with traditoonal art and craft and at the same time also modern technology. Reception has a lounge where guests can play guitar or chinese instruments. Beds are very comfortable. Rooms are siaeable. Toilets are high tech with heated seats and computerised features on a remote control. Help with laundry is available. Breakfast is a generous spread. With traditional homemade dishes like noodles and congee alongside fruits and buns. More than the excellent accommodation, the couple who run the hotel are kind and generous with their time and hospitality. They made us feel like family. We had an enjoyable time chatting over tea. Will definitely stay here when we visit again.

The owners at Cloudy Warm Hotel were extremely helpful and friendly, and went above and beyond with their level of service. We planned on visiting the Huangshan mountains and they had kindly offered to drive us up to the shuttle bus station, after a delicious homemade breakfast! The room was very spacious with comfortable beds and a very cosy duvet! The location of the hotel was just what we needed and even had a stroll through the local town for some evening meals. We would highly recommend Cloudy Warm hotel, and both Mr & Mrs Yan. This is a lovely hotel and couldn’t have asked for anymore!

Very clean and super helpful and friendly host. He helped us with our luggages and showed us where to find food at night. He also helped to arrange transportation for us to go around huangshan. The house is very clean despite it being a historical place. Very authentic chinese house. Thank you!

Amazing location in Old Street area hard to find so call ahead or take the offer of collection. Wang is an amazing host take up the offer of private car to all the sites for the day cost 350 Yuan. Remember the electric blankets in winter months.
