My trip to Xiamen was one of the best trips I have had in a long time, thanks in large part to my stay at the 12 Seaside Hotel. It was my first trip to China and everything was great. A huge thanks to the owners of the hotel for being so welcoming and helping with everything from getting around the city to recommendation on local food. This is my first time stayed with Waldorf hotel,the location is good,the neighborhood easy to walk around,many restaurants can choose, the staff are the best. We enjoyed it very much,next time we will visit again. The chef of Brasserie one is excellent, He takes care of us so kindly and warm, Waldorf is perfect for travelers.

I have been travelling to Xiamen every year for business, first time at this hotel. Excellent facilities, friendly and accommodating staff (though most don’t speak English-as usual in China, but they will do their best to assist you), great breakfast buffet and only 10 min walk to the exhibition center. Shopping area with restaurants also 10 min walk, so location is ideal. Great seaview. Will happily stay here again!

Sea view room had excellent views towards Gulangyu, with information of the monuments you can see, as well as some paper and coloured pencils to draw. The decoration is quirky and fun, making reference to the culture and history of Xiamen. Location is very good, close to Zhongshan Rd and short taxi drive to Nanputuo and Xiamen Uni. The hotel receptionist, Lydia Li (guest service manager), was extremely nice and helpful, aiding us to book a tour to the Nanjing Tulou, and was very attentive as well during our stay.

-Clean spacious room with fruit and snacks provided each day. -Buffet style breakfast was ample, large choice of hot and cold food and drinks. -Great central location - 20 mins to the airport and Wu tong ferry port. Next to Xiamen train station and 5 mins walk to metro and BRT. -staff were excellent - 小張 was especially kind to us during our stay.
