Hotels in Yangjiajie, Zhangjiajie

The room has good lighting and the cleaning is quite clean. There is a mountain view next to it, which is quiet enough. For someone like me who has high requirements for sleep quality, I feel it's okay

This is by far the best place I've stayed in China and it's all because of Merry, the host. She honestly will make your days in Zhangjiajie INCREDIBLE. Firstly, because she knows everything about the park, having worked there for many years. If you follow her suggestions, you'll really feel like you had the most of the place. Her meals are out of this world, freshly cooked vegetables, tofu, mushrooms, with that "homey" feel, that change every day. She can pre-book tickets and arrange transportation, in case you need. It's possible to do laundry, free of cost. Her place is less than a 5-minute walk from the main entrance of the park. Rooms are also large, clean, comfortable and quiet. I can't wait to go back to her place!

Really good place to stay if visiting the west side of the park. Very close proximity to the entrance - about 5 minute walk. Excellent breakfast options - chinese and western as well as a large selection of options for dinner. The hotel is relatively new and has great rooms with excellent views. Rooms are very modern, clean, great facilities and amenities. I've stayed here on two separate trips to Zhangjiajie and will stay here again if I return a third time. There's no better option for hotels on this side of the park.

The breakfast was tailor made for every person. The host, Ms.Carol is the one of most sweet persons you will meet. She was very understanding of our food options and ensured the food was served on time. She also took up the responsibility of booking out tickets to all tourist spots and gave us an English map for navigation. The map was better than an official guide. The location is amazing. It is very remote, giving you a great sense of peace. The staff is amazing. Frankie went out of his way to make it comfortable for us. He had great advice on what to do in the region and helped us a lot. His English is also great. Yang Ma let us taste a lot of tea that she made herself. It was absolutely delicious and she also taught us new things! In the bar they have a karaoke setup and we sang to our hearts content with Yang Ma. The food is also superb and really comforting after walking in the park for a day. Sadly the weather wasn't great when we visited so we did not enjoy the infinity pool, but it looks amazing. We will defenitely return here if we come to Zhangjiajie again.

I am very satisfied with the accommodation experience. We could communicate with Long Jing about the daily itinerary every day. She picked us up and dropped us off every day. We had a pleasant stay for many days. There was also a free laundry room and freshly ground coffee. For the first time, we had freshly ground coffee which I love. The breakfast was very abundant and different every day. We chose to have dinner at the guesthouse every night because we were too hungry at noon in the scenic area. I am very happy and hope to be able to help you.

What a splendid spot. Tucked right by the park entrance, it offers remarkable convenience without sacrificing an ounce of tranquillity. Waking up to those peaks each morning was rather special. The team here runs a tight ship – everything is spotless and handled with quiet efficiency. The breakfast set us up perfectly for the day. We shall certainly return.

Carol is a super host! She helped us a lot with planning each day and organizing our stay in Zhangjaijie. The hostel is very friendly and quiet. The location is excellent. Without a doubt one of the highlights of our stay in China!

Amazing hotel, nice room, friendly staff and so close to Yangjiajie entrance (10 mins by walk) and very good food.

First of all, the location: the house is situated just inside the Zhangjiajie Forest National Park, by the West Gate. If you plan to really see the Park, this is the best place to stay for sure since it does take a good hour from Zhangjiajie City to reach. Instead of getting up super early every day, we could easily just walk outside the house and wave for the bus to stop and let us on, then we’d drive maybe 5 minutes (if at all) and arrive at the cable car station. The facilities are amazing, too. The room was beautiful and nicely renovated and it even had one of those neat automatic toilets. The house had multiple seating areas outside, like a terrace and a pool (which was closed since it was the low season), but our absolute favorite was the patio by the river. It’s so peaceful and idyllic and really lets you appreciate the natural scenery. Secondly: the food! Delicious breakfast and dinner! Most importantly: our hosts! These people are the warmest, kindest, most gracious hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Especially Nihong. Our time in Zhangjiajie would not have been the same without her. She was our tour guide for the first two full days, showing us so much of the park we would have never seen otherwise. She took time out of her day for us for three straight days just to make sure we had the best possible experience. We learned so much about Tujia culture as well, which was so interesting. Her English is so good and she was always interested in learning more, and in turn she helped us learn a few Chinese words and phrases. And her husband drove us to the Railway Station when we had a very early train to catch, which was such a big help. We could not have been more lucky with these kind people! All in all, if you’re thinking of staying here, please do! You won’t regret it. We certainly hope we can return one day! Xiexie! Wo ai ni Zhangjiajie!
