The host is very friendly and attentive to guests' privacy and comfort, and is always ready to assist with any requests or difficulties. The area is well-equipped with affordable restaurants, bakeries, cafes, supermarkets, pharmacies, and other commercial amenities.

In many years of travelling and using Booking.com, I have found that the vast majority of cases the accommodation rating is accurate. Only twice in the past 15 years have I been misled. Here, at Bambus, the hosts were obviously keen to help us with everything possible, and the communication with them beforehand was excellent. The flat was absolutely perfect for us - plenty of room, all the facilities in the kitchen that we could wish for and spotlessly clean. So, yet again, the rating was reliable. This is a lovely place to stay in a great part of Leipzig, and both my colleague and I agree that we would willingly return.

Very nice staff, I booked the wrong room and just for 3€ extra they gave us another one. The bed was huuuuge! Parking right in front was also a big plus and it was for free. Shopping centre was also not far away (we went there for food 🍲 because we were just sleeping over here for one night) The balcony view was very nice, with two chairs and a table. We’ve been on the way for over 8 hrs so sitting down and relaxing in thr balcony was very nice. Oh and the aldi was just 4 mins away from the hotel.

It was my 2nd time in Leipzig and the 2nd at Spirit Lodge as well. If you like 'Twin Peaks', you'll probably enjoy your stay: most of the things there are made of wood, which gives the property the vibe of The Great Northern hotel from the TV show. The facilities are excellent, there's everything you may need for a short stay. Sebas, the property manager, was really helpful and let me use a laptop for a while.
