Carmen and her team have been absolutely fantastic with their hospitality. This little gem is all that I had hoped it would be, and more. As the mother of a young girl travelling solo for the first time ever, Gasthaus Stappen has been home away from home for her. Warm service, smiles and kindness - oh my gosh, and THE FOOD !! We were welcomed by the host on arrival, who showed us the accommodation, but was not intrusive. The accommodation is in a very quiet residential area, and has a designated parking space in front of the property. The accommodation was extremely clean and had everything we needed for our stay, Comfortable beds with good quality linen. There is a lovely verandah at the front of the property, which is ideal for relaxing in the afternoon sunshine. A fabulous orange Smeg fridge/freezer is in the kitchen!

This hotel is located in the village of Schiefbahn, part of the town of Willich. It is surrounded by peaceful countryside, 1.2 km from the A52 motorway and 19 km from Düsseldorf. SCHLAFGUT!
