My friend was sick and we had an overnight bus to catch. The one room wasn't booked, so they let her sleep in the room till we had to catch our bus, at no extra charge. We really appreciated this.
Location is great, with a view of a historical church from the window. Just be aware that the entrance isn't marked properly and it can be a bit confusing to find - although nothing that a phonecall can't resolve.

I stayed in the room for 3 and it was very good room with outside view. I liked everything about the hotel. Just go and stay there. Probably you will not receive similar experience for that small amount of money anywhere else.

Sofia, the host, was very friendly and helpful. A beautiful place, and was spotlessly clean. Nice breakfast and possible to have it early if needed. Convenient location a few minutes from the main plaza. Nice to have a roof top veranda. A beautiful small garden on the ground floor.
I stayed för a total of 9 nights and would not hesitate to come back.

It is beautiful colonial style hotel. I liked décor, tasteful and comfortable style. Stuff very helpful with luggage. Location is right in the middle of old town but it was quiet at night, I had a good sleep there.

This is an amazing place to stay! Incredible value for money with a superb location and great rooms. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is huge and delicious. Rooms get cleaned daily. It really feels several steps above what you'd expect given the price. Fully recommended.

Everything was amazing . Right in the heart of Cuenca this hotel is the best choice ! Located in a beautiful colonial style old mansion I had a room in the backyard which was very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast had a great choice . The staff was outstanding , trying to fulfill every wish and make your stay as pleasant as possible. Would stay there any time again !

The hotel is not called Hotel en El Centro Historico. It's called Balcon del Arte. It took me 35 mns in a taxi to find it and 10$ instead of 2$ from the bus station. I had to stop at each hotel on the road to find the hotel asking if it was the hotel.

Its 6 blocks away from old town. Very clean nice rooms, they give plenty of blankets as its cold in the room. They bring your breakfast to your little table in your room. looks like they have a small patio in the back with some exercise equipment.
