Perfect stay – calm, caring atmosphere and true attention to detail My stay at Cook’s Club was short, but absolutely perfect. The staff were professional, friendly, and genuinely caring, always greeting guests and checking in — without ever being pushy. The Welcome Drink was a lovely touch — I could pick any cocktail I wanted. That generosity set the tone from the start. The hotel’s green and peaceful territory is full of palms, banana trees, cacti — everything beautifully maintained. The music by the pool is tasteful and relaxed, which adds to the calm vibe. Though Cook’s Club has a “club-style” concept, the guest atmosphere was pleasantly balanced and intelligent. No loud or vulgar behavior — just relaxed people enjoying their holiday. It felt comfortable, respectful, and welcoming. I’d say it suits both younger travelers and guests 40+. One of the biggest surprises: although Egypt is often full of noise, this hotel is truly an oasis of calm. No shouting, no loud phone calls — just quiet, comfort, and space to fully relax. My room was flawless — as a perfectionist, I can confidently say it was 10/10. Super clean, comfy bed with satin-white linens, great pillows, and strong water pressure. Breakfasts were excellent: fresh juices, detox waters, tasty omelets, house-made bread from an outdoor oven, and proper barista coffee — all included. When I had a sudden migraine, the reception kindly arranged medication from a pharmacy — delivered in 20 minutes for just 2 euros. That kind of care really matters. The pool is clean and checked daily, and in the evenings, there are charming touches like outdoor movies with popcorn and snacks. This hotel truly shines with its peaceful vibe, attentive service, and thoughtful details. I would love to return and highly recommend it.

Location is great. Food is excellent (breakfast buffet is to die for) Service is top notch. Rooms with private pools are amazingly convenient. Special thanks to all Casa Cook’s team for all their help, service and warm welcome (the names I could recall: Randa from reception, Fatma from breakfast, Mustafa from breakfast coffees, Bassem the waiter).

We wanted a place to completely unwind and this was perfect. Would go again. Everything was very calm and tasteful, to a high standard. Falling asleep to the sounds of the waves each evening. Exceptional breakfast, looking out onto the red sea. Kayaking on crystal blue water. There are many more sunbeds and cabanas than hotel rooms so there was always plenty of choice for shade or sun, beach or pools. The resources of 2 pools and kids pool and beach for 80 rooms was an excellent ratio, it never felt too crowded and we always had plenty of choice. Our room was better than the photos. Very comfortable beds and beach sunloungers. All staff were extremely friendly, helpful and unintrusive. We used the spa for massages and took classes with the gym instructor ( Yoga and bodypump). All were fantastic. High quality cusine. Highly recommend. El Gouna also has lovely restaurants around the marina and downtown, both of which are a few minutes away in a touktouk. The lagoon is very safe, you can touch the ground and walk 300m out into the sea. We had two days of 35km/h wind which was breezy, could make you want a tshirt in the shade, but not a problem for us. And 3-4days of 18km wind which was a perfect amount to keep cool in the 30-35 degree heat. Thank you to all at the chedi for a really lovely holiday.

Our stay at Doubletree by Hilton Mangroovy was absolutely wonderful! The hotel is beautiful, new, and very well maintained, but what made our experience truly exceptional was the staff. Nour at the reception went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable from the very first moment. He is incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help. His attention to detail and genuine care made our stay unforgettable. If you’re visiting El Gouna, I highly recommend this hotel – and make sure to meet Nour, he will make your trip extra special!

Great spot and we come here regularly. So many pools it is easy to find a quiet and empty one. Little terrace and on ground floor is nice. Kitchen is well stocked.

Everything was thought about in the apartment. The location and the cleanliness of the property. It is very modern, well maintained and right in the centre of Downtown El Gouna ….perfect !
