Everything about Malkata House was exceptional -- the setting, the beautiful architecture and artwork, our large and luxurious room, and the amazing Egyptian food prepared by Chef Hassan. The staff were attentive and gracious, and the house manager, Ahmed, arranged for an exceptional driver and guide, Mohamed Omar, to assist us throughout our stay. Mohamed Omar spoke excellent English, knew the Luxor area intimately, and went above and beyond to be helpful to us in every possible way. By the end of our week we considered him to be our good friend.

The room was really cozy and clean. The staff were super helpful. Especially Mr.ashraf, who is like a one stop guy. He arranged cabs and boats for us in a jiffy and gave a reasonable price too. So we were able to enjoy luxor with peace of mind. We are also vegetarians and he ensured that we get delicious food everywhere. The hotel is also very near to the ferry point. So we were able to commute to the east bank easily. Overall our experience was amazing and we wish we to have stayed longer in luxor.

Ahmed’s hospitality was exceptional, along with his brother Mahmoud. They were terrific people , the villa it was incredibly amazing and clean. The location is ideal, since it’s away from all the crowd of the city. Besides Ahmed offers to pick you up at the West Bank side every time that you’re crossing from East bank without charge. Mahmoud’s breakfast has been the most incredible experience regarding to Egyptian food, and if you have the chance , try eating lunch at their restaurant. They will definitely help you for tips if you want to go to different places with reasonable prices. I absolutely recommend staying at Ahmed’s place, this is by far one of the best options to stay in Luxor.

We enjoyed everything here! You can’t find a better one in Luxor. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. They offered great breakfast. It’s 4 minute walk to public ferry station and easy to get to Valley of kings by taxi.
