Everything about Malkata House was exceptional -- the setting, the beautiful architecture and artwork, our large and luxurious room, and the amazing Egyptian food prepared by Chef Hassan. The staff were attentive and gracious, and the house manager, Ahmed, arranged for an exceptional driver and guide, Mohamed Omar, to assist us throughout our stay. Mohamed Omar spoke excellent English, knew the Luxor area intimately, and went above and beyond to be helpful to us in every possible way. By the end of our week we considered him to be our good friend.

The room was really cozy and clean. The staff were super helpful. Especially Mr.ashraf, who is like a one stop guy. He arranged cabs and boats for us in a jiffy and gave a reasonable price too. So we were able to enjoy luxor with peace of mind. We are also vegetarians and he ensured that we get delicious food everywhere. The hotel is also very near to the ferry point. So we were able to commute to the east bank easily. Overall our experience was amazing and we wish we to have stayed longer in luxor.

100% perfect. You are in good hands. The setting is beautiful, the apartments are spacious, well-equipped, clean and so comfortable. The breakfast was freshly-prepared and copious. The family who run it and all the people who work there are so nice and genuine. I love the animals and nature. Such an oasis away from the hustle of the east side. They even pick you up from the ferry pier to bring you 'home'!
