This hotel is in a wonderful and safe neighborhood and was close to where I needed to go. It is a 4 minute walk from the underground train and takes about 20 mins to reach Pl. Catalunya with this public transportation. The breakfast offered variety of sweet, savory and fresh, and the coffee was very good. The staff was very helpful with every question and friendly. The rooms were clean and had all amenities working. The kitchen offered food and drinks if you needed a quick bite and a sip.

We stayed for three nights before heading on to Salou and absolutely loved it. We arrived late the first night, but it was no hassle to self check in. The room was just what we needed, but the kitchen made all the difference as we didn't want to have every meal out. The bakery across the street is wonderful, and the surrounding area is lovely to stroll around. Transport into the city centre is really close and convenient. Pati was an absolutely gorgeous host, so warm and welcoming. We'll definitely stay here again during our next visit to Barcelona and will recommend Casa Filomena to all my family and friends.

One of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed in Spain! Amazing kind and flexible staff. Everything was so easy! I love to cook and have a fridge full of space for snacks and drinks too so having a fully stocked kitchen was incredible in a modern hotel room.
