The apartment is very nice and clean with good beds and a great shower. You do need a car as it is in a more remote area of Malaga but it also means it is super quiet (no sign of dog barking at night as indicated in other comments) and the parking spot is included. The host is also flexible and responsive.

The hotel is in an industrial zone, but when you enter the hotel, it is like you entered into another world - beautiful hall, even more beautiful garden. Our room was big (for 5), very comftorable bed, coffe/tea in a room, everything we needed. Gym is quite big, pool is ok, with sunbeds. 15 minutes from historical center of Malaga. We would definitely come back.
