Our stay at Kastara Resort was absolutely fantastic—truly a memorable experience from start to finish. Although we didn’t have the chance to try the spa (we were always out exploring!), we are confident it would have been amazing based on the quality of everything else. The service was exceptional—every staff member we encountered was kind, attentive, and always greeted us with a warm smile. Their hospitality made us feel so welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. We stayed in one of the suites with an outdoor hot tub, and it was absolutely incredible. Soaking in the hot tub while enjoying the stunning views of the jungle was like a dream come true. The infinity pool was equally breathtaking—a perfect spot to relax and take in the serene surroundings. The cleanliness of the resort was unmatched; everything was spotless, and we’ve honestly never experienced such meticulous attention to detail in a property. The food was another highlight of our stay. Every meal we had at the resort was excellent, and we loved that we didn’t need to go anywhere else to enjoy high-quality dining. The live music in the evenings added such a lovely atmosphere to our dining experiences. It’s rare to find a place where everything exceeds expectations, but Kastara Resort truly deserves its 5-star rating and more. In terms of location, it couldn’t have been better. The resort is a peaceful haven away from the chaotic center of Ubud, yet still close enough to explore. It’s about a 35-minute walk to the center, which was perfect for us as we could avoid the traffic while enjoying the serenity of the surrounding jungle. It also served as the perfect base for exploring Ubud and its beautiful surroundings. Without a doubt, Kastara Resort is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. We had an absolutely amazing villa, what a view, wonderful staff and we felt like we were in paradise. The accommodation is definitely worth 5 stars.

The staff were extraordinary. The hotel transferred our bag to the next hotel we are staying at for no extra charge, allowing us to enjoy our day in the market. Cherry on top

The employees were very polite and caring. We stayed in an extremely clean and well-maintained room. The smell of cleanliness greets you as soon as you enter the room. The dinners we ate at the hotel restaurant were incredibly delicious. The view of the hotel was also excellent.

The rooms are spacious and offer plenty of privacy. What truly stands out is the impeccable service: the staff is always helpful, warm, and professional. A perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff, all always smiling and extremely kind. For my birthday the surprises were endless, from the mini cake at breakfast to the surprise on the bed and in the bathtub when I returned to the hotel. Really super welcoming.

The food was of exceptional quality, always served punctually within the ordering hours, which made dining in our villa an easy and delightful choice. The staff were remarkably hospitable, offering thoughtful assistance with excursion planning and activities, ensuring a seamless and relaxing experience.
