the b&b was located next to the old beautiful town. the rooms were clean and well equipped, breakfast was delicious (even gluten free versions of cakes were available!) and the staff was super friendly and helpful with our car renting!

The room was very clean with a huge bathroom. We were able to drop off our luggage early in the morning at 7.30am for our matera tour. Without it our tour could not have been possible! The bed was comfortable and we had a sound sleep after a hectic day. They prepared a breakfast box for us since we had an early train next day which was too kind of them. There is a free cappucino machine which is always on and you can have it when you want. The place is very close to train station near McD like 3mins walk and there is a nearby Gyoza shop which was so good! I am happy that I booked this place which help a lot in my early morning trains and tours. The wifi worked seamlessly, which is again a plus point.

We loved our stay here. The apartment is in a very nice part of town and it’s easy to find from the station. Entrance is via a stairway but it wasn’t difficult for us. We travel with hand luggage only. Marco greeted us at the door and was very welcoming. The apartment is magnificent. The photos don’t do it justice. It’s modern but has been decorated in a considered style that is very stylish. Our room,number 3 was very spacious and extremely comfortable. The bed, pillows and fabulous bathroom were above our expectations. Agata our host is sn excellent cook and our breakfast was delicious. A cooked breakfast was available but we didn’t need it as the buffet selections were more than enough. The coffee was the best we’ve had so far. Netflix was a great distraction after a delicious meal in the town.

Alice met us outside, guided us to our room and gave us a warm welcome. The place is tastefully renovated, clean, well situated and we had the pleasure of enjoying a good breakfast on the roof terrace. One night at Murex was a great start of our vacation in Puglia.
