Nohga Hotel Kyoto was a fantastic experience. The staff were warm and always helpful, making the stay very enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent, with the Eggs Benedict standing out as perfectly prepared.

Staying at Seikoro Ryokan was a truly unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warmth and exceptional hospitality.
We enjoyed an exquisite 8-course Japanese dinner, featuring the freshest fish and beautifully presented dishes, followed by a delicious traditional Japanese breakfast the next morning. Sleeping in the traditional style, on comfortable floor mattresses, added to the authenticity and charm of the stay.
The room was perfectly air-conditioned and overlooked a serene and beautifully maintained zen garden, offering a sense of peace and calm. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches—yukata robes provided for dinner and the onsen, as well as comfortable sleepwear.
Thank you once again for such a wonderful and memorable stay. We hope to return one day!

This was an exceptionally good hotel, in every reward. Particularly the help we got from the reception desk and every aspect of internal processes was top notch. Also the fact that the checkout was at 12pm.

Loved the amazing friendly and helpful staff, who gave us good advice and discussions.
Great location in central Gion in a quiet street but walking distance to almost anything.
Great variety and range of eating places and the river close by and of course as many temples as you need with cool peaceful gardens as well as museums. Nishiki Market is a short bus ride or interesting 20min walk.
The room was beautiful and fully equipped incl a small kitchenette, electric blackout curtains and lots of tech
Breakfasts were copious and varied to suit most tastes, best scrambled egss in Japan.
Amazingly bestiful designer chairs in a little sitting area and free laundry room was an unexpected bonus!

The location is great-- close to Keihan Shijo station and other bus stations. Walkable to Gion & other attractions. Convenient stores nearby & you can walk along the small breek in a good weather.
The room is very spacious and nicely set up too. I particularly loved the amenities.
The staff is super friendly and helped a lot with our questions. Everything was great!

the room was clean, modern and spacious by Japanese standards. the bed was comfortable. the location was great - a quiet little back street and easy walking to downtown Kyoto and all the sites of Gion. the staff were lovely and very helpful - they helped us organise a luggage transfer and restaurant bookings. I would definitely stay here again.
