Everything has been excellent. The staff has always been very friendly with us, since the first moment: they kept our luggage, they recommended us how to move around the city and they sent our luggage to the next hotel. The breakfast was awesome, and it was the best out of all the hotels we visited in Japan. It included both Western and Asian options. It also has many restaurants inside the hotel, and there is amazing Onsen (warm bath). Moreover, it is next to the fish market, where it is possible to access through a sidewalk from the hotel and it has a free entrance. Finally, the location is pretty close to Kyoto station (1 stop by train ~10 minutes). If I had to stay again in Kyoto, I would definitely stay again in Emion Kyoto Hotel.

Never have we been treated like this! We’ve lived in many hotels over the years but the staff at Mimaru left us speechless. Everyday when going or coming back they warmly greet you and have a friendly chat with you, give you tips and suggestions on activities and are just plain enjoyable to hang out with.
What REALLY surprised us was the deep kindness of Risa and Mayu who went the extra mile to make our 8th year anniversary truly special! They’ve heard about which our favorite drinks were so they got them for us, along with a lovely gift (something we were looking to buy ourselves but now became even more special!). This all took us by great surprise and we are deeply thankful.
Thank you for an amazing stay and once again thank you Risa and Mayu for making our special day even more special!

The rooms were spotless. Location is near the Kyoto station. All amenities were very well thought of and you could borrow a lot of things from speaker to rice cooker, steam iron etc. Shower was excellent. Staff was very good and helpful. A mirror in the room would be appreciated.

Front staff are very polite and helpful, and fluent in English. As I just know limited Nihongo, so the use of English can help foreign guests a lot to enjoy their stay at Mimaru.
The Pokemon theme room is really attractive to me as a Pokemon fans, in which fully decorated with lovely Pokemon.
I love the Pokemon souvenirs prepared for me so much, which is not for sale and well designed.
All the utensils for living are quite enough and you do not need to worry about it if you stay for a long period of time or you can bring nothing to stay in the hotel in case you do not have many special requests.
